1. Track down the class teacher
Nothing is as special as having the original class teacher there. They often still live near the school or can be traced through the current school management. A guest of honour like "the teacher" immediately breaks the ice.
2. Serve nostalgic snacks
What did you eat at break time back then? Think of classic childhood sweets and snacks. Serving these "childhood favourites" instantly sparks conversation and smiles.
3. Create a "Then & Now" corner
Ask guests to upload a childhood photo (their old class portrait) and a current one via Mijn Reünie in advance. We display these on the guest list, but you can also print and hang them. The recognition is often hilarious.
4. Visit the old school
If the building still exists, try to arrange a tour in the afternoon. Walking the corridors where you used to run unlocks an enormous number of memories. Afterwards you can go for drinks at a nearby pub.
