Dark mode now available in dashboard, reunion website and landing page
From today, Mijn Reünie fully supports dark mode. Whether you're managing the dashboard in the evening, your guests are viewing the reunion website on their phone, or visitors land on the landing page — everything automatically follows the system preference.
Why dark mode?
Dark mode has become the standard on virtually every device — from iPhone and Android to macOS and Windows. More and more people set their system to dark by default, especially in the evening. For a platform like Mijn Reünie, where organisers regularly update the guest list or adjust tickets in the evening, dark mode was a logical step.
Your guests also often check the reunion website on their phone at a moment when they want to quickly see who's coming. A bright white background in the dark isn't ideal. Dark mode solves that without you as the organiser needing to do anything.
What exactly has changed?
Dark mode has been rolled out in three places at once:
How does it work?
Dark mode is activated automatically based on the visitor's system preference. If your phone or computer is set to dark, everything looks dark. If it's set to light, you get the familiar light design.
No setting in the dashboard is required — it just works. Nothing changes for you as an organiser in the way you manage the reunion.
Available for everyone
Dark mode is available for all users, regardless of their plan (Basic, Premium or Ultimate). It's a platform improvement that we're rolling out for everyone at the same time.
More updates in the pipeline
We're continuously working on improvements for Mijn Reünie. More news soon about new features for the LiveWall, improvements to the registration form, and more customisation options for the reunion website. Keep an eye on the blog.
